Narrative:

We inadvertently left our logbook at lga. We flew the aircraft to lga and 1 write-up was put in the logbook about an aircraft lavatory not working. The mechanic fixed the lavatory and took the logbook. About 5 mi between pushback the captain mentioned that the logbook had not returned. Almost at the same instant we noticed an aircraft departing runway 31 instead of runway 13 as we had planned. I tuned in the ATIS and it said departing aircraft expect runway 13 but the wind was 330 degree at 6 KTS. The captain told me to coordinate with ATC for a runway 31 departure and to modify our FMC and refigure our takeoff performance.
