Narrative:
Air carrier X cleared via GLASR3 to sea. We had installed the jasn (FMS) transition into the FMC for runway 16R. After numerous radar vectors were reclred direct jackson and GLASR3. At 'sea 29' fix on the jasn transition we turned to a 250 degree heading as per the GLASR3. However, our turn should have been at the hethr intersection, 10 NM on the sea 020 degree radial. Approach caught the early turn and redirected a heading to intercept the sea 020 degree radial. Lesson - do not install anything into the FMC unless cleared for it. Supplemental information from acn 298522: we were cleared GLASR3 into sea and I had the jasn (FMS) transition installed in the FMC. At 'sea 29' I selected a 250 degree heading for the PF instead of waiting for the proper fix of hethr. Approach control caught my mistake and redirected us.

Title: ACR X NON ADHERENCE TO PUBLISHED ARR MADE EARLY TURN.
Narrative: ACR X CLRED VIA GLASR3 TO SEA. WE HAD INSTALLED THE JASN (FMS) TRANSITION INTO THE FMC FOR RWY 16R. AFTER NUMEROUS RADAR VECTORS WERE RECLRED DIRECT JACKSON AND GLASR3. AT 'SEA 29' FIX ON THE JASN TRANSITION WE TURNED TO A 250 DEG HDG AS PER THE GLASR3. HOWEVER, OUR TURN SHOULD HAVE BEEN AT THE HETHR INTXN, 10 NM ON THE SEA 020 DEG RADIAL. APCH CAUGHT THE EARLY TURN AND REDIRECTED A HDG TO INTERCEPT THE SEA 020 DEG RADIAL. LESSON - DO NOT INSTALL ANYTHING INTO THE FMC UNLESS CLRED FOR IT. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 298522: WE WERE CLRED GLASR3 INTO SEA AND I HAD THE JASN (FMS) TRANSITION INSTALLED IN THE FMC. AT 'SEA 29' I SELECTED A 250 DEG HDG FOR THE PF INSTEAD OF WAITING FOR THE PROPER FIX OF HETHR. APCH CTL CAUGHT MY MISTAKE AND REDIRECTED US.
