Narrative:
Flight attendant on ferry flight. I allowed flight attendants on a ferry flight because I had difficulty understanding the message. Flight manual part 1 uses the following terms in different ways to confuse their meaning, pilot flight crew, cockpit crewmember, crewmember, flight crew member (3 words), and flight crew members (2 words). I also thought we would be operating as a positioning ferry flight for maintenance (section 14 part 3) not maintenance and special permit ferries (section 14 part 4) MM.
