Narrative:

On takeoff, the takeoff warning horn sounded as thrust was advanced. We aborted the takeoff and exited the runway. After running through the possible causes, I noticed that the flaps were at position 1 and not the required position 5. Flaps were repositioned and takeoff was uneventful. Inattn to the fact that it was A-500 aircraft, was the problem. To correct the problem is to be sure to note model of aircraft as you take it!
