Narrative:
I was cleared to land on runway 20L at pdk and told to report 3 mi from airport to enter left downwind. I was east of airport at 3.5 mi. Tower told me to cross airport at pattern altitude and enter right downwind for runway 20R instead (it was very busy). I was told to follow an aircraft on 1 mi final. I saw what I thought was this aircraft, reported right base and entered final and landed. After taxiing clear of runway 20R I heard a pilot (a bonanza I think) ask the tower 'why did that last aircraft land on runway 20R he was very close to me.' the tower stated that 'he was changed to runway 20R ' I have no idea how close we were or what aircraft this was. The tower said nothing to me.

Title: SMA ON FINAL HAS CLOSE PROX WITH SECOND ACFT.
Narrative: I WAS CLRED TO LAND ON RWY 20L AT PDK AND TOLD TO RPT 3 MI FROM ARPT TO ENTER L DOWNWIND. I WAS E OF ARPT AT 3.5 MI. TWR TOLD ME TO CROSS ARPT AT PATTERN ALT AND ENTER R DOWNWIND FOR RWY 20R INSTEAD (IT WAS VERY BUSY). I WAS TOLD TO FOLLOW AN ACFT ON 1 MI FINAL. I SAW WHAT I THOUGHT WAS THIS ACFT, RPTED R BASE AND ENTERED FINAL AND LANDED. AFTER TAXIING CLR OF RWY 20R I HEARD A PLT (A BONANZA I THINK) ASK THE TWR 'WHY DID THAT LAST ACFT LAND ON RWY 20R HE WAS VERY CLOSE TO ME.' THE TWR STATED THAT 'HE WAS CHANGED TO RWY 20R ' I HAVE NO IDEA HOW CLOSE WE WERE OR WHAT ACFT THIS WAS. THE TWR SAID NOTHING TO ME.
