Narrative:
It is always important to be sure you are at least 1000 ft above the ground over populated areas, at least 500 ft above the ground over sparsely populated areas, and at least 1000 ft above any tower, high wires, etc. I have always been aware of my altitude over these areas especially to prevent any complaints by residents, but more importantly my safety and the safety of others on the ground.
