Narrative:
Bird strike on touchdown. Flock of 10 starlings flew up in front of us. We hit 1 on the first officer windscreen. No aircraft damage. Made a PIREP to tower, spoke with them by phone. Notified dispatch. Postflt walk-around revealed no damage. Notation in logbook made. Company air safety report filled out. I am filing this because I am concerned about possible FAA exposure. The current climate is so fear crazed that a simple bird strike reduces an otherwise fairly calm airline captain to a jolly like state of total paranoia.
