Narrative:
During arrival and approach, communication with ATC was poor due to static in radios. Thunderstorms and icing was encountered during descent. ILS runway 9 briefing was done (by PIC) and radios for ILS runway 9 were set. During final vectoring, ILS runway 8 was given and we did not change frequencys. ATC noticed error approximately 2.5 DME from OM and all changes were made for ILS runway 8. Normal transition was done about 3000 ft MSL and 2.5 DME from OM. Normal landing with no other conflicts noticed. Crew was very busy due to WX in area. Thunderstorms, turbulence, static in radios - several xmissions were blocked and had to be repeated.

Narrative: DURING ARR AND APCH, COM WITH ATC WAS POOR DUE TO STATIC IN RADIOS. TSTMS AND ICING WAS ENCOUNTERED DURING DSCNT. ILS RWY 9 BRIEFING WAS DONE (BY PIC) AND RADIOS FOR ILS RWY 9 WERE SET. DURING FINAL VECTORING, ILS RWY 8 WAS GIVEN AND WE DID NOT CHANGE FREQS. ATC NOTICED ERROR APPROX 2.5 DME FROM OM AND ALL CHANGES WERE MADE FOR ILS RWY 8. NORMAL TRANSITION WAS DONE ABOUT 3000 FT MSL AND 2.5 DME FROM OM. NORMAL LNDG WITH NO OTHER CONFLICTS NOTICED. CREW WAS VERY BUSY DUE TO WX IN AREA.
