Narrative:
I, the first officer, performed preflight on the aircraft. The aircraft had to be pulled forward from parking spot, due to another aircraft at gate. I saw nose gear pin in nose and assumed it belonged to handling station and would be removed by gate personnel at the completion of the towing. The pin was not removed after towing and due to rushing to get out on time I did not go back out and check pin. We subsequently took off with nose gear pin in and nose gear would not retract. We determined that we had sufficient fuel to continue to destination so that is what we did, no further action was needed. Our company has no procedure for this to make sure gear pin is removed because it was not a pushback procedure. And due to the close proximity of the time we were pulled to gate and at actual departure time things get very busy and subsequently the gear pin was forgotten. In future station and pilot personnel should both check to make sure pin is removed after towing procedure, when the tow bar is unhooked.

Title: COMMUTER LTT NOSE GEAR PIN LEFT IN AND ACFT DEP WITH GEAR EXTENDED, CONTINUES TO DEST ARPT.
Narrative: I, THE FO, PERFORMED PREFLT ON THE ACFT. THE ACFT HAD TO BE PULLED FORWARD FROM PARKING SPOT, DUE TO ANOTHER ACFT AT GATE. THE PIN WAS NOT REMOVED AFTER TOWING AND DUE TO RUSHING TO GET OUT ON TIME I DID NOT GO BACK OUT AND CHK PIN. WE SUBSEQUENTLY TOOK OFF WITH NOSE GEAR PIN IN AND NOSE GEAR WOULD NOT RETRACT. WE DETERMINED THAT WE HAD SUFFICIENT FUEL TO CONTINUE TO DEST SO THAT IS WHAT WE DID, NO FURTHER ACTION WAS NEEDED. OUR COMPANY HAS NO PROC FOR THIS TO MAKE SURE GEAR PIN IS REMOVED BECAUSE IT WAS NOT A PUSHBACK PROC. AND DUE TO THE CLOSE PROX OF THE TIME WE WERE PULLED TO GATE AND AT ACTUAL DEP TIME THINGS GET VERY BUSY AND SUBSEQUENTLY THE GEAR PIN WAS FORGOTTEN. IN FUTURE STATION AND PLT PERSONNEL SHOULD BOTH CHK TO MAKE SURE PIN IS REMOVED AFTER TOWING PROC, WHEN THE TOW BAR IS UNHOOKED.
