Narrative:

Departure mia level at 7000 ft heading 340 degrees. Departure controller issued a climb to 16000 ft. Started climb. Passing about 9000 ft received a TA followed immediately by an RA to level off. Complied. Traffic was an air carrier 727 approximately 3 mi and 2000 ft above. No limits were placed on the climb by TRACON and no traffic was issued by the controller. TCASII did its job.

TFC WAS AN ACR 727 APPROX 3 MI AND 2000 FT ABOVE. NO LIMITS WERE PLACED ON THE CLB BY TRACON AND NO TFC WAS ISSUED BY THE CTLR. TCASII DID ITS JOB.
