Narrative:
Upon check-in for our scheduled for (sdf-dfw) crew scheduling advised us of a revision to our schedule. We were to fly sdf-dfw-iah-mex, layover 9 plus 30 hours and operate mex-efd. This is allowable per our flight operations manual to operate under domestic rules. Upon arrival to the aircraft in mex after a 9 plus 30 hours rest period, we were handed a flight release to sdf nonstop. 2 days later I accessed a copy of my schedule via computer and noticed a possible bust of required rest for international operations by 0 plus 32 mins. Actual 10 plus 2 mins rest was needed. Our flight operations manual has provisions for operating to and from certain international cities under domestic rules. Mex-efd is included, mex-sdf is not. I feel that a review of these flight operations procedures is a must by crew schedulers and crew members. Especially when flts are not scheduled and last min changes are made to crews whom do not normally operate international flts.

Narrative: UPON CHK-IN FOR OUR SCHEDULED FOR (SDF-DFW) CREW SCHEDULING ADVISED US OF A REVISION TO OUR SCHEDULE. WE WERE TO FLY SDF-DFW-IAH-MEX, LAYOVER 9 PLUS 30 HRS AND OPERATE MEX-EFD. THIS IS ALLOWABLE PER OUR FLT OPS MANUAL TO OPERATE UNDER DOMESTIC RULES. UPON ARR TO THE ACFT IN MEX AFTER A 9 PLUS 30 HRS REST PERIOD, WE WERE HANDED A FLT RELEASE TO SDF NONSTOP. 2 DAYS LATER I ACCESSED A COPY OF MY SCHEDULE VIA COMPUTER AND NOTICED A POSSIBLE BUST OF REQUIRED REST FOR INTL OPS BY 0 PLUS 32 MINS. ACTUAL 10 PLUS 2 MINS REST WAS NEEDED. OUR FLT OPS MANUAL HAS PROVISIONS FOR OPERATING TO AND FROM CERTAIN INTL CITIES UNDER DOMESTIC RULES. MEX-EFD IS INCLUDED, MEX-SDF IS NOT. I FEEL THAT A REVIEW OF THESE FLT OPS PROCS IS A MUST BY CREW SCHEDULERS AND CREW MEMBERS. ESPECIALLY WHEN FLTS ARE NOT SCHEDULED AND LAST MIN CHANGES ARE MADE TO CREWS WHOM DO NOT NORMALLY OPERATE INTL FLTS.
