Narrative:
The event occurred on a flight from fll to lga. The ship number for the flight was xxy. The filed flight plan indicated ship was XXX. Evidently, a ship swap occurred and the computerized flight plan was not updated. The flight crew was not aware that we were not flying the originally scheduled equipment (were not informed of the tail swap). I did not notice the incorrect ship number was on the filed flight plan.
