Narrative:

We were on an approach to runway 22, downwind just prior to final/base turn. Approach cleared us for the visual approach and directed us to contact tower 118.7. We checked in with tower and then did not hear from tower for the remainder of the 3 mi final. We saw a green light from the tower and landed. After touchdown and rollout, we cleared the runway and switched to ground frequency. The ground controller cleared us to the gate. After reaching the gate, we were asked to contact tower. We called on 118.7 and they advised us they had attempted several times to contact us on final to no avail. They then stated they gave us the 'green light' clearance to land and when we came up on ground frequency it was the first they had heard from us since initial check-in. We had maintenance check all radios and made several radio checks on various frequencys with no recurrence of the problem.

Title: TEMPORARY RADIO FAILURE ON APCH AND LNDG.

Narrative: WE WERE ON AN APCH TO RWY 22, DOWNWIND JUST PRIOR TO FINAL/BASE TURN. APCH CLRED US FOR THE VISUAL APCH AND DIRECTED US TO CONTACT TWR 118.7. WE CHKED IN WITH TWR AND THEN DID NOT HEAR FROM TWR FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE 3 MI FINAL. WE SAW A GREEN LIGHT FROM THE TWR AND LANDED. AFTER TOUCHDOWN AND ROLLOUT, WE CLRED THE RWY AND SWITCHED TO GND FREQ. THE GND CTLR CLRED US TO THE GATE. AFTER REACHING THE GATE, WE WERE ASKED TO CONTACT TWR. WE CALLED ON 118.7 AND THEY ADVISED US THEY HAD ATTEMPTED SEVERAL TIMES TO CONTACT US ON FINAL TO NO AVAIL. THEY THEN STATED THEY GAVE US THE 'GREEN LIGHT' CLRNC TO LAND AND WHEN WE CAME UP ON GND FREQ IT WAS THE FIRST THEY HAD HEARD FROM US SINCE INITIAL CHK-IN. WE HAD MAINT CHK ALL RADIOS AND MADE SEVERAL RADIO CHKS ON VARIOUS FREQS WITH NO RECURRENCE OF THE PROB.
