Narrative:

Triple failure. Moderate turbulence, surface winds gusting to 40 KTS, cumulus clouds with rain showers. So copied altimeter on ATIS as 29.86. We set all altimeters. Descending to 7000 ft controller advised us that we were below 7000 ft. Checking altimeter settings we discovered that setting should have been 29.26. Stopped descent at 6600 ft. We were distracted by turbulence, passenger and flight attendant considerations, approach briefings, checklists, etc. Also, new copilot training in progress increased workload.
