Narrative:
While en route abq-ord at FL330, irk 240 degree radial, 150 DME, approximately XA00Z in pms performance cruise mode, altitude started to climb rapidly. Autoplt disengaged by pilot 100 ft above FL330. Leveloff initiated with autoplt off. Climb stopped by FL333. Aircraft returned to FL330 and flight continued in non performance mode with no additional flight guidance problems.
