Narrative:

On arrival to phl given a timely descent with crossing restr. Missed the crossing by 2 mi due to my inattn to exceptionally strong tailwind. No known conflict. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter states the super 80 just felt like it wouldn't come out of the sky. This was the first big step down from altitude (which reporter could not remember) and it was a slam dunk procedure. Reporter says he just misjudged the effect of the tailwind, did what he always does in such a descent, but it just didn't work.
