Narrative:
After an uneventful approach, landing and taxi, I approached gate at jacksonville in a B767-200 (ship XXX) and made a left turn to line up on the yellow stripe at the gate area with the marshaller's assistance. There were wing walkers in position at each wingtip area. After stopping on the 767 mark as indicated by the marshaller's lighted wands, we shut down the remaining engine. After the passenger deplaned we were informed our right wingtip had struck and overridden the left wingtip of the 767 parked at gate xyy. Both aircraft were on their respective yellow parking lines with a 4 ft wing overlap. We were later told wing walker was trying to get the attention of the marshaller during the final few ft of taxi but the marshaller had her eyes fixed on the nose gear to be able to stop the aircraft on its mark. The parking lines were not set up for 2 wide body aircraft. Procedure called for parking the aircraft outside of the respective line when 2 wide body aircraft were parked side by side -- that procedure was not followed. Supplemental information from acn 308092: other aircraft was parked at next gate with right nose tire on taxi run-in line at gate. Superficial damage suffered by each aircraft.

Title: WHILE FOLLOWING YELLOW RAMP GUIDELINES, A B767-200'S WINGTIP OVERRODE WINGTIP OF ADJACENT ACFT ALSO PARKED ON YELLOW MARKINGS.
Narrative: AFTER AN UNEVENTFUL APCH, LNDG AND TAXI, I APPROACHED GATE AT JACKSONVILLE IN A B767-200 (SHIP XXX) AND MADE A L TURN TO LINE UP ON THE YELLOW STRIPE AT THE GATE AREA WITH THE MARSHALLER'S ASSISTANCE. THERE WERE WING WALKERS IN POS AT EACH WINGTIP AREA. AFTER STOPPING ON THE 767 MARK AS INDICATED BY THE MARSHALLER'S LIGHTED WANDS, WE SHUT DOWN THE REMAINING ENG. AFTER THE PAX DEPLANED WE WERE INFORMED OUR R WINGTIP HAD STRUCK AND OVERRIDDEN THE L WINGTIP OF THE 767 PARKED AT GATE XYY. BOTH ACFT WERE ON THEIR RESPECTIVE YELLOW PARKING LINES WITH A 4 FT WING OVERLAP. WE WERE LATER TOLD WING WALKER WAS TRYING TO GET THE ATTN OF THE MARSHALLER DURING THE FINAL FEW FT OF TAXI BUT THE MARSHALLER HAD HER EYES FIXED ON THE NOSE GEAR TO BE ABLE TO STOP THE ACFT ON ITS MARK. THE PARKING LINES WERE NOT SET UP FOR 2 WIDE BODY ACFT. PROC CALLED FOR PARKING THE ACFT OUTSIDE OF THE RESPECTIVE LINE WHEN 2 WIDE BODY ACFT WERE PARKED SIDE BY SIDE -- THAT PROC WAS NOT FOLLOWED. SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION FROM ACN 308092: OTHER ACFT WAS PARKED AT NEXT GATE WITH R NOSE TIRE ON TAXI RUN-IN LINE AT GATE. SUPERFICIAL DAMAGE SUFFERED BY EACH ACFT.
