Narrative:

X was holding short of taxiway V on victor 3 (ramp exit). Ground control issued clearance, taxi to runway 28C, hold short runway 28L on taxiway P. As I made a right turn the controller said 'where are you going?' we said taxiing as instructed and the ground controller said we had blocked another aircraft from entering the ramp. We were complying and correct. The controller obviously was not aware of our position and had not idented us correctly. This happens regularly at our hubs. The controllers make far more mistakes than the pilots do. I cannot even count how many times I have corrected a clearance or stopped short of another aircraft when I have been incorrectly cleared. I never say anything, but ATC is very quick to reprimand a pilot. I will start making their errors known to them if the frequency is not busy, although the controllers will reprimand when it is busy.

Title: ACR BLOCKED ANOTHER ACFT FROM PROCEEDING TO GATE.

Narrative: X WAS HOLDING SHORT OF TXWY V ON VICTOR 3 (RAMP EXIT). GND CTL ISSUED CLRNC, TAXI TO RWY 28C, HOLD SHORT RWY 28L ON TXWY P. AS I MADE A R TURN THE CTLR SAID 'WHERE ARE YOU GOING?' WE SAID TAXIING AS INSTRUCTED AND THE GND CTLR SAID WE HAD BLOCKED ANOTHER ACFT FROM ENTERING THE RAMP. WE WERE COMPLYING AND CORRECT. THE CTLR OBVIOUSLY WAS NOT AWARE OF OUR POS AND HAD NOT IDENTED US CORRECTLY. THIS HAPPENS REGULARLY AT OUR HUBS. THE CTLRS MAKE FAR MORE MISTAKES THAN THE PLTS DO. I CANNOT EVEN COUNT HOW MANY TIMES I HAVE CORRECTED A CLRNC OR STOPPED SHORT OF ANOTHER ACFT WHEN I HAVE BEEN INCORRECTLY CLRED. I NEVER SAY ANYTHING, BUT ATC IS VERY QUICK TO REPRIMAND A PLT. I WILL START MAKING THEIR ERRORS KNOWN TO THEM IF THE FREQ IS NOT BUSY, ALTHOUGH THE CTLRS WILL REPRIMAND WHEN IT IS BUSY.
