With 13000 ft given we ballooned 500 ft above clearance altitude. I returned to 13000 ft immediately. Supplemental information from acn 308891: exceeded 13000 ft clearance altitude by about 500 ft while slightly distracted by adapting to unfamiliar routing. Returned immediately to 13000 ft clearance altitude.
