Narrative:

I was extremely tired during flight and subsequently dozed off during cruise. It was the captain's leg flying the airplane, which would customarily mean that I would talk on the radios. However, I would momentarily be roused only during those times that the captain would answer a radio call. The last call I remember was for descent to 17000 ft. Upon waking I noticed that we were 15 DME from destination at 17000 ft. We called center and were handed off directly to approach. I do not know if we missed a radio call or if center 'forgot' about us. In any case, we were not where we were supposed to be. Lack of adequate rest was the prime cause of this problem. I should have called in sick.
