Narrative:
Departed lot runway 27 of IFR flight time behind small single, (approximately 4 mins after). My aircraft was 1 min ahead of my release time. I read back clearance twice to ikk flight service on ground and verified, but misread my watch and departed 1 min early. I contacted departure while still in VMC conditions and they advised I was early and told to turn to 180 degrees because of departure traffic. I turned and advised I was still VMC. I believe no conflict occurred. Misread watch due to all the fives in times. Released ae:00, void ae:05. I read my watch at ad:55 and left at ad:59.
