Narrative:

Flying milton 8 arrival into lga. First officer at controls. Descending through 7000 ft inbound to nanci. Thunderstorm over nanci. Requested to deviate right of the arrival due to WX. Ny approach control said deviation approved, do not pass lga 223 degree radial. WX forced us to pass radial by about 3-5 degrees. As we began left turn to the north, approach told us we were too far east and to commence left turn. We stated that WX prevented an earlier turn. Approach said we were entering jfk airspace. We observed no traffic near us on TCASII. Approach stated he had no WX capability on his radar. Had approach stated earlier, his concern with jfk airspace we could have possibly deviated west of nanci, although that may have posed problems with ewr. There isn't much room to maneuver off of ny arrs. Earlier communications from both sides would have helped. I will look further down the road in the future when flying into ZNY.

Title: FLC OF AN MLG FAILED TO TURN WITHIN ASSIGNED RADIAL RESULTING IN ERRONEOUS PENETRATION OF AIRSPACE.

Narrative: FLYING MILTON 8 ARR INTO LGA. FO AT CTLS. DSNDING THROUGH 7000 FT INBOUND TO NANCI. TSTM OVER NANCI. REQUESTED TO DEVIATE R OF THE ARR DUE TO WX. NY APCH CTL SAID DEV APPROVED, DO NOT PASS LGA 223 DEG RADIAL. WX FORCED US TO PASS RADIAL BY ABOUT 3-5 DEGS. AS WE BEGAN L TURN TO THE N, APCH TOLD US WE WERE TOO FAR E AND TO COMMENCE L TURN. WE STATED THAT WX PREVENTED AN EARLIER TURN. APCH SAID WE WERE ENTERING JFK AIRSPACE. WE OBSERVED NO TFC NEAR US ON TCASII. APCH STATED HE HAD NO WX CAPABILITY ON HIS RADAR. HAD APCH STATED EARLIER, HIS CONCERN WITH JFK AIRSPACE WE COULD HAVE POSSIBLY DEVIATED W OF NANCI, ALTHOUGH THAT MAY HAVE POSED PROBS WITH EWR. THERE ISN'T MUCH ROOM TO MANEUVER OFF OF NY ARRS. EARLIER COMS FROM BOTH SIDES WOULD HAVE HELPED. I WILL LOOK FURTHER DOWN THE ROAD IN THE FUTURE WHEN FLYING INTO ZNY.
