Narrative:

I was in the restaurant eating a sandwich when the lead agent came and asked me to come to the aircraft. One of the ramp personnel was moving the ground air conditioning into place when he ran into the aircraft. There were 2 dents on the right side of the fuselage abeam the tail stand. One was approximately 2 inches in diameter, the other approximately 1 inch in diameter. They were approximately 9 1/2 inches apart just aft of the ribs. Maintenance was notified. They said they would send someone out from dallas to inspect the aircraft. Maintenance arrived, inspected the aircraft and a ferry permit was issued to ferry the aircraft from midland to dfw airport. Aircraft departed maf and landed at dfw without incident.
