Narrative:

Upon entering the pattern at cak during a visual approach to runway 23, captain (non-flying leg) completed before landing checks, and found we were lacking a green light indication for the nosewheel. We communicated with tower and completed a visual missed approach (go around) and remained in the traffic pattern. Captain communicated with our company (mechanics) and decided to complete the checklist for the situation. Captain declared an emergency. We circled the field for 45-60 mins to burn off excess fuel, as per checklist. We landed, feathered both engines during ground roll, as per checklist. We had no problems with the nose gear. Stopped on the runway and unloaded passenger.
