Narrative:
During an instrument approach in VFR conditions the captain and I noticed an insignificant problem with our GPS. After landing I was told by ATC to contact ground. Due to our interest in our small navigation abnormality we began to discuss what happened. I performed the after landing checklist and the captain taxied the aircraft. Upon reaching our ramp, I noticed that I was still on tower frequency. Due to our curiosity with our small problem we had both forgotten the basics and not monitored who we were talking to. The navigation problem was very minor and there was no need to discuss it while we were operating the aircraft. Lesson learned!
