Narrative:
Flying from carson city to douglas county airport when engine quit from lack of fuel. Landed on a graded road at a construction site. No damage or problem. Obtained fuel and took off for destination. Had been making several glider tows and misjudged remaining fuel.

Title: PLT OF AN SMA RAN OUT OF FUEL AND WAS FORCED TO MAKE AN OFF ARPT LNDG WITH NO DAMAGE TO THE ACFT.
Narrative: FLYING FROM CARSON CITY TO DOUGLAS COUNTY ARPT WHEN ENG QUIT FROM LACK OF FUEL. LANDED ON A GRADED ROAD AT A CONSTRUCTION SITE. NO DAMAGE OR PROB. OBTAINED FUEL AND TOOK OFF FOR DEST. HAD BEEN MAKING SEVERAL GLIDER TOWS AND MISJUDGED REMAINING FUEL.
