Narrative:
CRM and qualification issues: new crew called late for international flight. Flight attendants not familiar with international procedures nor very familiar with aircraft. Lack of lodo (language speaking flight attendant) placed added pressure on flight attendants and entire crew. Some catering items, thus, not boarded. Some minor procedures may have been missed by the flight crew. Point: air carrier should take extra effort to prevent a basically 'all new' crew with minimal training from being placed in rushed, last-min situation. Despite significant efforts by captain to assure crew that time was not an issue (that safety concerns were primary and must be met before departure) new crew appeared to be overly self-pressured by schedule concerns due to age-old 'hurry-up' mentality when faced with a late flight.

Title: PIC COMPLAINT REGARDING FLC CABIN ATTENDANT EXPERIENCE LEVEL COMPOSITION AND THEIR EFFECTS ON CRM AND CHKLIST USE.
Narrative: CRM AND QUALIFICATION ISSUES: NEW CREW CALLED LATE FOR INTL FLT. FLT ATTENDANTS NOT FAMILIAR WITH INTL PROCS NOR VERY FAMILIAR WITH ACFT. LACK OF LODO (LANGUAGE SPEAKING FLT ATTENDANT) PLACED ADDED PRESSURE ON FLT ATTENDANTS AND ENTIRE CREW. SOME CATERING ITEMS, THUS, NOT BOARDED. SOME MINOR PROCS MAY HAVE BEEN MISSED BY THE FLC. POINT: ACR SHOULD TAKE EXTRA EFFORT TO PREVENT A BASICALLY 'ALL NEW' CREW WITH MINIMAL TRAINING FROM BEING PLACED IN RUSHED, LAST-MIN SIT. DESPITE SIGNIFICANT EFFORTS BY CAPT TO ASSURE CREW THAT TIME WAS NOT AN ISSUE (THAT SAFETY CONCERNS WERE PRIMARY AND MUST BE MET BEFORE DEP) NEW CREW APPEARED TO BE OVERLY SELF-PRESSURED BY SCHEDULE CONCERNS DUE TO AGE-OLD 'HURRY-UP' MENTALITY WHEN FACED WITH A LATE FLT.
