Narrative:
Landing runway 13R, dfw. Cleared runway 13R high speed taxiway. Upon talking to ground and getting taxi instructions to join taxiway a, hold short runway 18R, went to company ramp control. Looked up after throwing switch and captain had joined taxiway B. Advised him at that point. He said was doing it from memory. Appeared no problem with ground control. In retrospect, will wait to call company until established on taxiway. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporting first officer agrees with his captain that there are not proper signs at this point off of runway 13R. The captain was new to the aircraft and these crewmen had not flown together before. This incident happened in mid afternoon in good WX with nearly unlimited visibility. Supplemental information from acn 320007: there were no taxi signs visible. I remembered incorrectly, my fault. But why not put some taxiway signs there. I taxied onto taxiway B instead of taxiway a.
