Narrative:
I departed runway 18 about 2 mins after the previous aircraft departed. I announced my intentions on the CTAF 122.80 that I was departing on runway 18 and that I would pass below the aircraft and to the right. As I approached the aircraft from his rear right side, the aircraft initiated a right turn toward my flight path. In order to avoid an incursion, I reduced power and descended in a left turn away from the aircraft's new flight path. The other aircraft was a tampico, TB9 (single engine, low wing).
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: NMAC BTWN 2 ACFT DEPARTING AN UNCTLED ARPT.
Narrative: I DEPARTED RWY 18 ABOUT 2 MINS AFTER THE PREVIOUS ACFT DEPARTED. I ANNOUNCED MY INTENTIONS ON THE CTAF 122.80 THAT I WAS DEPARTING ON RWY 18 AND THAT I WOULD PASS BELOW THE ACFT AND TO THE R. AS I APCHED THE ACFT FROM HIS REAR R SIDE, THE ACFT INITIATED A R TURN TOWARD MY FLT PATH. IN ORDER TO AVOID AN INCURSION, I REDUCED PWR AND DSNDED IN A L TURN AWAY FROM THE ACFT'S NEW FLT PATH. THE OTHER ACFT WAS A TAMPICO, TB9 (SINGLE ENG, LOW WING).
