Narrative:
Intensive study of the airline's noise abatement special procedure for abq runways, dated oct/xx/95, showed a different procedure than what was previously shown for abq. We noted the change, and followed the 'current' procedure exactly. However, tower and departure wanted the old one. It would have been very simple to follow the old one (don't start a turn until 1.5 NM past the runway), but the new procedure removed the 1.5 NM restr completely. Basically, the 'new, updated, current' procedure was in error. So when we started a turn after takeoff, tower pointed out we have to wait till 1.5 NM. So we straightened out till 1.5 NM, then turned. It would have been easy to follow, we were well aware of the old procedure, but we followed the 'new, updated' procedure, which was wrong. Tell us, what could we do?
