Narrative:
We were taxiing east on taxiway K at lax abeam the south end of the bradley international terminal. The flight attendant at door 2L called and said the #1 engine hit a truck. We never felt anything. We were on centerline. We never saw the truck. The flight attendant said that he observed the truck moving and in a left hand turn when it hit the front of the engine. The driver was looking left and not at us. Better training is needed for ground equipment drivers.
