Narrative:
While being marshalled to park at gate X in bos, our left wingtip contacted the right wingtip of an L1011 parked at gate. As we entered the alley there were no wingwalkers present so we stopped the aircraft. The wingwalkers approached the aircraft and the marshall signaled us to move forward. We were moving very slowly when we were signaled to stop. Unfortunately, our aircraft had already come in contact with the L1011. The area at the wingtip outboard of the #1 slat was dented, and there was a scrape under the bottom edge of our left wing.
