Narrative:
Shortly after starting our takeoff roll, I observed a white light moving just off to the right, and several thousand feet down the runway ahead of us. About the time I began to rotate the aircraft, I noticed the white light was entering the runway. It was so far down the runway, my first thought was that it was a ground vehicle of some kind. By the time our aircraft was airborne, I could see the red and green navigation lights. I said to the first officer, 'that is an aircraft on the runway!' as we passed over it, I could see that it was a B737. My thought at that time was that there was another aircraft waiting to takeoff right behind us. Since no one had said anything about the aircraft on the runway on the tower frequency, I said 'tower, just so you know there is an aircraft on the runway out here.' just so you understand my position on this incident, I will say, at no time did I feel the situation was threatening, nor was any evasive action required on either aircraft's part. If you would like more information feel free to call the numbers given.

Title: FLC OF AN MLG OVER-FLEW ANOTHER ACFT NEAR THE DEP END OF THE RWY DURING INITIAL CLB AFTER TKOF.
Narrative: SHORTLY AFTER STARTING OUR TKOF ROLL, I OBSERVED A WHITE LIGHT MOVING JUST OFF TO THE R, AND SEVERAL THOUSAND FEET DOWN THE RWY AHEAD OF US. ABOUT THE TIME I BEGAN TO ROTATE THE ACFT, I NOTICED THE WHITE LIGHT WAS ENTERING THE RWY. IT WAS SO FAR DOWN THE RWY, MY FIRST THOUGHT WAS THAT IT WAS A GND VEHICLE OF SOME KIND. BY THE TIME OUR ACFT WAS AIRBORNE, I COULD SEE THE RED AND GREEN NAV LIGHTS. I SAID TO THE FO, 'THAT IS AN ACFT ON THE RWY!' AS WE PASSED OVER IT, I COULD SEE THAT IT WAS A B737. MY THOUGHT AT THAT TIME WAS THAT THERE WAS ANOTHER ACFT WAITING TO TKOF RIGHT BEHIND US. SINCE NO ONE HAD SAID ANYTHING ABOUT THE ACFT ON THE RWY ON THE TWR FREQ, I SAID 'TWR, JUST SO YOU KNOW THERE IS AN ACFT ON THE RWY OUT HERE.' JUST SO YOU UNDERSTAND MY POS ON THIS INCIDENT, I WILL SAY, AT NO TIME DID I FEEL THE SIT WAS THREATENING, NOR WAS ANY EVASIVE ACTION REQUIRED ON EITHER ACFT'S PART.
