Airworthiness release had been signed off in logbook as being completed on dec/aa/95, although the actual inspection took place on dec/bb/95. Had licensed a&P mechanic correct logbook to reflect release on dec/bb/95 which made it valid for flight on dec/hh/95.

Title: AN ACR FLC NOTES THAT THE AIRWORTHINESS SIGNOFF IN THE ACFT LOGBOOK WAS DATED INCORRECTLY AND HAD THE MECH CORRECT THE DATE.
Narrative: AIRWORTHINESS RELEASE HAD BEEN SIGNED OFF IN LOGBOOK AS BEING COMPLETED ON DEC/AA/95, ALTHOUGH THE ACTUAL INSPECTION TOOK PLACE ON DEC/BB/95. HAD LICENSED A&P MECH CORRECT LOGBOOK TO REFLECT RELEASE ON DEC/BB/95 WHICH MADE IT VALID FOR FLT ON DEC/HH/95.
