Narrative:
Taxied down closed runway, could not get information on CTAF because of poor radio reception at this ground location on airport. Runways were not marked or closed with 'X's' and after taxi when FSS on field was called on phone the FSS specialist I talked to did not know that runway 32 was closed and had to ask around to find out. There needed to be better information on the part of the FSS, and if the runway was closed there should have been 'X's' on the runway even if it was only temporary.
