Narrative:
Smoke in cabin. Non emergency descent to 10000 ft, where smoke dissipated. Landing sfo uneventful. All emergency and irregular procedures were complied with. Crew procedures and methods for handling this situation good. ATC unilaterally declared an emergency for us.

Title: FLC EXPERIENCED SMOKE IN THE CABIN, ACCOMPLISHED 'NON EMER' DSCNT TO 10000 FT FROM FL390, AND COMPLIED WITH ALL APPROPRIATE EMER AND IRREGULAR PROCS. THE ARTCC DECLARED AN EMER FOR THE CREW. THE LNDG AT SFO WAS UNEVENTFUL.
