Narrative:

Our citation was on final approach to the sln airport runway 35. The crew members had received a clearance to land from the salina control tower. Salina field conditions were night VFR. As the citation's nosewheel touched down the speed brakes and thrust reversers were deployed. At that point the landing lights of the citation picked up a light, then a single-engine airplane on the right side of runway 35. The crew members of the citation took appropriate action by steering the airplane to the left to avoid hitting the stopped airplane on runway 35. The crew members made contact with the control tower to advise them there is an unlighted airplane on the approach end of runway 35. The control tower did not know that the airplane was on the runway. On taxi out for takeoff the crew members asked the control tower what had been learned about the incident. The controller reported the aircraft to be an old vintage airplane with no radios and battery powered navigation lights. The controller said the pilot could not land at intended destination due to fog and that salina was the first airport that the pilot saw for a landing. There was no damage done to our citation and no one was injured.

Title: THE PLT OF A VINTAGE ACFT COULD NOT LAND AT THE PLANNED DEST BECAUSE OF FOG. THE PLT THEN DIVERTED TO THE FIRST AVAILABLE ARPT. THE PLT LANDED WITHOUT REQUESTING CLRNC TO LAND, AND WAS NOT SEEN BY THE TWR. THE TWR CLRED A CITATION FLC TO LAND ON THE SAME RWY. THE VINTAGE ACFT WAS DISCOVERED BY THE CITATION CREW DURING LNDG ROLLOUT AND RPTED TO THE TWR.

Narrative: OUR CITATION WAS ON FINAL APCH TO THE SLN ARPT RWY 35. THE CREW MEMBERS HAD RECEIVED A CLRNC TO LAND FROM THE SALINA CTL TWR. SALINA FIELD CONDITIONS WERE NIGHT VFR. AS THE CITATION'S NOSEWHEEL TOUCHED DOWN THE SPD BRAKES AND THRUST REVERSERS WERE DEPLOYED. AT THAT POINT THE LNDG LIGHTS OF THE CITATION PICKED UP A LIGHT, THEN A SINGLE-ENG AIRPLANE ON THE R SIDE OF RWY 35. THE CREW MEMBERS OF THE CITATION TOOK APPROPRIATE ACTION BY STEERING THE AIRPLANE TO THE L TO AVOID HITTING THE STOPPED AIRPLANE ON RWY 35. THE CREW MEMBERS MADE CONTACT WITH THE CTL TWR TO ADVISE THEM THERE IS AN UNLIGHTED AIRPLANE ON THE APCH END OF RWY 35. THE CTL TWR DID NOT KNOW THAT THE AIRPLANE WAS ON THE RWY. ON TAXI OUT FOR TKOF THE CREW MEMBERS ASKED THE CTL TWR WHAT HAD BEEN LEARNED ABOUT THE INCIDENT. THE CTLR RPTED THE ACFT TO BE AN OLD VINTAGE AIRPLANE WITH NO RADIOS AND BATTERY POWERED NAV LIGHTS. THE CTLR SAID THE PLT COULD NOT LAND AT INTENDED DEST DUE TO FOG AND THAT SALINA WAS THE FIRST ARPT THAT THE PLT SAW FOR A LNDG. THERE WAS NO DAMAGE DONE TO OUR CITATION AND NO ONE WAS INJURED.
