Narrative:
After runway 9R landing, lost nosewheel steering. Indication was pedal steering inoperative, light on panel and aircraft performance on runway. Maintained directional control with reverse and brakes. Stayed on runway until plane almost stopped, at which time aircraft rolled 90 degrees right with mains still on pavement and only nosewheel off in the mud. No aircraft damage or injuries sustained. Caused shutdown of runway 9R until we deplaned passenger and aircraft towed away.
