Narrative:
Approach cleared us for visual approach runway 10R at pit, asked us to reduce speed to 160 KTS and follow a beech commuter airliner. I called for 1 degree flaps and reset the speed command bug to 160 KTS. Then there was confusion about which aircraft we were to follow. Distracted by that I forgot to call for 5 degrees flaps. The airspeed went to 160 KTS with flaps 1 degree set, below maneuver speed. Aircraft was flown below maneuver speed for flaps 1 degree for 30 seconds. Traffic sequence was resolved and I executed more flaps.
