Narrative:

On an IFR training flight, we were being vectored from a missed approach to an ILS. The PF was on VHF #2 with XXX approach, and I was on VHF #1 with ZZZ radio obtaining additional WX information. Due to a previously undiscovered avionics 'glitch,' we bled over to each other's respective radio when transmitting, ultimately resulting in several missed traffic alerts from ATC. They finally reached us, alerted us to the conflicting aircraft and we turned away as soon as possible.
