Narrative:
I was practicing touch-and-goes in my cessna T210 at apa, co. I was using runway 35R and the winds had been variable from 230-330 degrees at 10 KTS and an occasional gust up to 20 KTS. My first 4 touch-and-goes went excellently and I was pleased with my performance and crosswind technique. On my final, full stop landing, I had a stabilized approach, added 20 degrees of flaps, and the winds were pretty much down the runway. I flared normally and carried a slight amount of power. However, to my surprise, the aircraft bounced hard. It continued to bounce hard a few more times and I attempted a go around. This attempt did not work and resulted in damage to the landing gear. I am unaware of anything else I could have done to prevent this other than more practice.

Title: PVT PLT OF AN SMA SEL BOUNCED ON LNDG AND MADE AN UNSUCCESSFUL GAR CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE LNDG GEAR.
Narrative: I WAS PRACTICING TOUCH-AND-GOES IN MY CESSNA T210 AT APA, CO. I WAS USING RWY 35R AND THE WINDS HAD BEEN VARIABLE FROM 230-330 DEGS AT 10 KTS AND AN OCCASIONAL GUST UP TO 20 KTS. MY FIRST 4 TOUCH-AND-GOES WENT EXCELLENTLY AND I WAS PLEASED WITH MY PERFORMANCE AND XWIND TECHNIQUE. ON MY FINAL, FULL STOP LNDG, I HAD A STABILIZED APCH, ADDED 20 DEGS OF FLAPS, AND THE WINDS WERE PRETTY MUCH DOWN THE RWY. I FLARED NORMALLY AND CARRIED A SLIGHT AMOUNT OF PWR. HOWEVER, TO MY SURPRISE, THE ACFT BOUNCED HARD. IT CONTINUED TO BOUNCE HARD A FEW MORE TIMES AND I ATTEMPTED A GAR. THIS ATTEMPT DID NOT WORK AND RESULTED IN DAMAGE TO THE LNDG GEAR. I AM UNAWARE OF ANYTHING ELSE I COULD HAVE DONE TO PREVENT THIS OTHER THAN MORE PRACTICE.
