Narrative:
While waiting for gate to open we were holding in our assigned spot when a flight on a gate nearby powered back. During the power-back and tail south, the right wingtip of the aircraft swung around and missed our cockpit window by 15 ft. The crew of this flight was apparently unaware of how close they were to hitting us.
