Narrative:
I deviated from ATC. I was instructed to hold short on taxiway A1 but proceeded across runway 19R/1L. I came head-on with a multi-engine aircraft when ATC advised me that I was instructed to hold short and that I acknowledged. I swerved out of the way of the aircraft that was swerving the opposite direction to avoid collision. To avoid any future problems with ATC instructions I will seek additional training on the subject of ground control. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter states the aircraft was a C152. Apparently the chief flight instructor filed the report with FAA causing the resulting follow up and threatened penalties. Reporter is quite contrite and ready to learn proper procedures. This was his second solo flight.

Title: STUDENT PLT FAILS TO HOLD SHORT AS DIRECTED AND HAS HEAD ON ENCOUNTER WITH MULTI-ENG ACFT OPPOSITE DIRECTION.
Narrative: I DEVIATED FROM ATC. I WAS INSTRUCTED TO HOLD SHORT ON TXWY A1 BUT PROCEEDED ACROSS RWY 19R/1L. I CAME HEAD-ON WITH A MULTI-ENG ACFT WHEN ATC ADVISED ME THAT I WAS INSTRUCTED TO HOLD SHORT AND THAT I ACKNOWLEDGED. I SWERVED OUT OF THE WAY OF THE ACFT THAT WAS SWERVING THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION TO AVOID COLLISION. TO AVOID ANY FUTURE PROBS WITH ATC INSTRUCTIONS I WILL SEEK ADDITIONAL TRAINING ON THE SUBJECT OF GND CTL. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: RPTR STATES THE ACFT WAS A C152. APPARENTLY THE CHIEF FLT INSTRUCTOR FILED THE RPT WITH FAA CAUSING THE RESULTING FOLLOW UP AND THREATENED PENALTIES. RPTR IS QUITE CONTRITE AND READY TO LEARN PROPER PROCS. THIS WAS HIS SECOND SOLO FLT.
