Narrative:
Flight was taxiing toward hold short. We were finishing taxi checklist. Tower was asking for ATC route clearance readback. After receiving this, tower said, 'cleared to line up and wait runway 33R' (about 2 second pause) then added, 'behind landing aircraft.' our aircraft began taxiing over hold short line after hearing first part of clearance. Our aircraft stopped short of runway after hearing second part of clearance. No conflict with landing aircraft existed.

Title: RPTR WAS OPERATING AT A EUROPEAN ARPT AND THE PHRASEOLOGY USED BY THE CTLR WAS NONSTANDARD TO UNITED STATES PHRASEOLOGY. PIC WAS ANTICIPATING THE CLRNC AND REACTED BEFORE THE CTLR COMPLETED HIS XMISSION.
Narrative: FLT WAS TAXIING TOWARD HOLD SHORT. WE WERE FINISHING TAXI CHKLIST. TWR WAS ASKING FOR ATC RTE CLRNC READBACK. AFTER RECEIVING THIS, TWR SAID, 'CLRED TO LINE UP AND WAIT RWY 33R' (ABOUT 2 SECOND PAUSE) THEN ADDED, 'BEHIND LNDG ACFT.' OUR ACFT BEGAN TAXIING OVER HOLD SHORT LINE AFTER HEARING FIRST PART OF CLRNC. OUR ACFT STOPPED SHORT OF RWY AFTER HEARING SECOND PART OF CLRNC. NO CONFLICT WITH LNDG ACFT EXISTED.
