Narrative:
While flying toward new rochelle from bridgeport (chkpoint before new rochelle) the left lens of my glasses (corrective lenses) fell off the frame (sun glasses). The sudden visual imbal and the glare of the sun disoriented me. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter states that in the confusion of looking for his lens he failed to descend below the floor of the class B airspace. When he landed in teb he had a message to contact TRACON. The supervisor with whom he spoke was very understanding and suggested that he contact ATC next time so that he would not have such problems. Reporter has made this trip many times and normally descends and remains below the floor of the class B airspace to land at teb. He vows that he will not fly without a spare pair of glasses in his flight bag. Aircraft is a PA28. There has been no further follow-up.
