Narrative:
At start of descent captain trimmed airplane for descent. Airplane had trim runaway full up. After switching trims from captain to copilot control was regained, but not before gaining 2000 ft of altitude and losing airspeed to 120 KIAS.

Title: FLC OF AN LTT TURBOPROP HAD A RUNAWAY PITCH TRIM CAUSING A GAIN OF 2000 FT TO REGAINING CTL OF ACFT PITCH.
Narrative: AT START OF DSCNT CAPT TRIMMED AIRPLANE FOR DSCNT. AIRPLANE HAD TRIM RUNAWAY FULL UP. AFTER SWITCHING TRIMS FROM CAPT TO COPLT CTL WAS REGAINED, BUT NOT BEFORE GAINING 2000 FT OF ALT AND LOSING AIRSPD TO 120 KIAS.
