Narrative:
After touchdown for full stop landing on runway 26, aircraft was slowed to a stop with light braking. Left mainmount (tire) blew. Aircraft was safely stopped and shut down. Aircraft pulled with towbar off runway on taxiway clear of foul area. An uneventful tire change was performed. I believe that the left tire may have had a prior flat spot from a previous flight that caused the tire to blow on my landing rollout when brakes were applied. Flat spot was hidden under tire skirt (aerodynamic tire cover) or on the portion not visible. Suggest fully pushing aircraft forward and aft (on preflight) with help of other crew member to visually inspect entire tire surfaces.

Title: SMA ON LNDG ROLLOUT HAS L MAIN TIRE BLOW.
Narrative: AFTER TOUCHDOWN FOR FULL STOP LNDG ON RWY 26, ACFT WAS SLOWED TO A STOP WITH LIGHT BRAKING. L MAINMOUNT (TIRE) BLEW. ACFT WAS SAFELY STOPPED AND SHUT DOWN. ACFT PULLED WITH TOWBAR OFF RWY ON TXWY CLR OF FOUL AREA. AN UNEVENTFUL TIRE CHANGE WAS PERFORMED. I BELIEVE THAT THE L TIRE MAY HAVE HAD A PRIOR FLAT SPOT FROM A PREVIOUS FLT THAT CAUSED THE TIRE TO BLOW ON MY LNDG ROLLOUT WHEN BRAKES WERE APPLIED. FLAT SPOT WAS HIDDEN UNDER TIRE SKIRT (AERODYNAMIC TIRE COVER) OR ON THE PORTION NOT VISIBLE. SUGGEST FULLY PUSHING ACFT FORWARD AND AFT (ON PREFLT) WITH HELP OF OTHER CREW MEMBER TO VISUALLY INSPECT ENTIRE TIRE SURFACES.
