Narrative:
During special event at airport while descending, the left tire on my J-3 cub hit power line. I managed to flare right at impact with taxiway. Wheel struts and propeller damage. No injuries.

Title: PLT OF A J-3 CUB LOST CTL OF THE ACFT OVER THE ARPT AND CRASH LANDED ON THE TXWY CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE PROP AND 1 MAIN GEAR STRUT.
Narrative: DURING SPECIAL EVENT AT ARPT WHILE DSNDING, THE L TIRE ON MY J-3 CUB HIT PWR LINE. I MANAGED TO FLARE R AT IMPACT WITH TXWY. WHEEL STRUTS AND PROP DAMAGE. NO INJURIES.
