First officer flying. We had filed for FL260 due to an ATC restr. On contacting ZKC we requested FL350. We were cleared to FL280. Approximately 5 mins after level off we got a TCASII RA calling for a descent of 1500 FPM. It was initiated, ATC was notified and we were cleared to maintain FL270.
