Narrative:
Had been practicing maneuvers for 1 hour. Was doing ILS to runway 1 at cak. Had been cleared to land. Remained on GS throughout approach. Full flaps, and airspeed 70 KTS at touchdown. Winds were 360 degrees at 5 KTS. Runway 150 ft wide, 6397 ft long. Touchdown in center, lost directional control and skidded to the right, going off runway. Was not able to gain control to keep on the runway. Did not hit any obstacles. No damage to aircraft. Was able to taxi to hangar. No injury to myself. Have thought about incident multiple times and do not know what went wrong. Smooth touchdown. Spoke to my commercial instructor and he stated perhaps I had my feet up too far on rudder and toes were actually on brakes. Then I applied more right brake. Plan to go with instructor and review. Have been working on commercial certificate and practicing lndgs.

Title: PLT OF A PA28 LOST DIRECTIONAL CTL DURING LNDG AND THE ACFT LEFT THE RWY. THE WINDS WERE LIGHT AND THERE WAS NO ACFT DAMAGE OR INJURIES.
Narrative: HAD BEEN PRACTICING MANEUVERS FOR 1 HR. WAS DOING ILS TO RWY 1 AT CAK. HAD BEEN CLRED TO LAND. REMAINED ON GS THROUGHOUT APCH. FULL FLAPS, AND AIRSPD 70 KTS AT TOUCHDOWN. WINDS WERE 360 DEGS AT 5 KTS. RWY 150 FT WIDE, 6397 FT LONG. TOUCHDOWN IN CTR, LOST DIRECTIONAL CTL AND SKIDDED TO THE R, GOING OFF RWY. WAS NOT ABLE TO GAIN CTL TO KEEP ON THE RWY. DID NOT HIT ANY OBSTACLES. NO DAMAGE TO ACFT. WAS ABLE TO TAXI TO HANGAR. NO INJURY TO MYSELF. HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT INCIDENT MULTIPLE TIMES AND DO NOT KNOW WHAT WENT WRONG. SMOOTH TOUCHDOWN. SPOKE TO MY COMMERCIAL INSTRUCTOR AND HE STATED PERHAPS I HAD MY FEET UP TOO FAR ON RUDDER AND TOES WERE ACTUALLY ON BRAKES. THEN I APPLIED MORE R BRAKE. PLAN TO GO WITH INSTRUCTOR AND REVIEW.
